Euphoria is finally back with another great episode, and it’s time to grab your cup of tea. The main characters for season two is Zendaya as Rue, Dominic Fike as Elliot, Hunter Schafer as Jules, Maude Apatow as Lexi, Eric Dane as Cal, Barbie Ferreira as Kat, Angus Cloud as Fezco, Alexa Demie as Maddy, Sydney Sweeney as Cassie, and Jacob Elordi as Nate. Euphoria gives a point of view from friends that are in high school who deal with daily struggles surrounding sex, drugs, alcohol, abuse and drama.

Season two of the HBO Max show was filmed in Los Angeles county.. Season two started on January 9. Euphoria was started because in this generation, there are a lot of kids who are in high school that can relate to having a drug addiction, or a drinking problem which helps them cope with personal problems. For example, Rue takes a lot of drugs to help her cope with her father’s death. Death is not easy to get over.

Season two reveals a lot of secrets that will leave you with your mouth dropped. There is really no good but there is a lot of bad in the most recent episode. Let’s discuss the bad. Jules is a problem. Everyone knows that Rue and Jules are together, right? The sad part is she accuses Rue of having feelings for Elliot but then she turns around behind Rue’s back and gets sexual with Elliot, such as kissing, touching; basically being intimate with Elliot.

That’s not all though, Nate and Cassie could likely get caught in episode five. Cassie has been having sexual interactions with her bestfriend Maddy’s ex, Nate. It’s pretty embarrassing that Cassie does the most to get Nate’s attention. Nate is using Cassie as of now just to get his mind off of Maddy, but deep down inside he still loves Maddy. There’s a small chance that Maddy knows that Nate and Cassie mess around due to a lot of eye contact in the pool scene. Cassie made an appearance in the pool while she was sloppy drunk and sat right next to Nate instead of Maddy.

This scene was very uncomfortable to watch because it felt like Cassie wanted to come out about her and Nate but she was too focused on trying to get Nate’s attention. Nate didn’t give her that, so she decided to get drunk which was not a good look at all.

Here comes the sad part, so grab your tissues. Rue is really dealing with unsolved problems and she’s taking a lot of hard drugs. It’s scary because as Rue being a favorite character, nobody wants to see her overdose. Rue was so high on drugs, she thought that she was dancing with her deceased father when she was really dancing with herself. While watching this particular part, tears were being dropped because death is something that you can’t get over overnight. Death can take years to get over, or even never.

The music that was playing when Rue was in the church really touched many souls. It was heart dropping to watch but very shocking as well. Rue shows a lot of details and examples of why she’s in such a dark place. Will Rue overdose or will she go MIA and try to fix on herself?

With such a jam packed episode, it is going to be quite interesting what the next episode, and the rest of the season, will bring next.
