Robkes has been around since 1971, and it is open 365 days a year. It is the go-to Italian restaurant in Northport.
This restaurant offers a spectacular menu with great quality Italian food. They will serve you family-style if you have a bigger party. They offer specials that are not on the menu but have choices that are good to consider. Looking over the menu they have a variety of dishes to choose from. The waiter answered all questions about the menu and directed us in the right direction.
The fried mozzarella and fried calamari as an appetizer was heavenly. They had the perfect crunch, and the cheese pulled apart perfectly in the fried mozzarella. The mac and cheese for an entree was fantastic. You have either the option to add either chicken cutlet or steak with it, and either pair well with the entree.
Their penne ala vodka with chicken on top or their Pappardelle Segreta is greatly portioned so it will be great for leftovers the next day. Not only is their pasta good but their steaks are made with love! They will make it exactly how you want it and they are seasoned nicely.
For a sweet treat at the end they offer different flavored cheesecakes and dishes depending on which day you go so it’s always a surprise.
If you’re a foodie, this place is great to check out. The quality of the food is worth the drive from wherever you are. If you happen to plan on going here it is cash only! No credit or debit cards are taken here. They do have an ATM inside though.
