Safe Halloween Events in the Time of COVID-19

Normally, Halloween is a time of joy where families and friends merge together for holiday festivities. However, this year, it is looking quite different since the coming of the Coronavirus. Throughout the confusion many holiday events have been forced to adjust to the pandemic, and towns have put restrictions on trick or treating. To ensure that families can still enjoy the holiday, here’s a list of activities to look forward to in New York and beyond.

The Last Ride Palermo

If you’re in for a spooky scare, then the perfect haunted experience awaits you. In Oswego County, The Last Ride Palermo offers a haunted hayride, house, and hearse ride. Keep in mind, they take Covid-19 restrictions seriously.

Halloween Trivia

Is your family feeling down about trick-or-treating being out of normalcy? Arc Arapahoe and Douglas, a nonprofit organization, is offering Halloween themed trivia over Zoom. This is a great activity for families and kids to join. It’s virtual and it’s spookily entertaining!

Spooktacular Halloween Social

For anyone who misses the opportunity to party on Halloween; you can still do so virtually. Dallas Society of Women Engineer’s is holding several contests and a night of socializing. There will be prizes handed out to winners for the best pumpkin carved live, Halloween costume, home decorations, and spooky virtual background.

Ghoul’s Night Out

Dallas Voice is hosting a virtual event that will include special guest Jenna Skyy. The night will include more celebrity appearances, a virtual dance floor, drag performances and more. This program will be broadcasted on the Dallas YouTube channel, website, and Facebook.

Fall Harvest Celebration

Critz Farms is holding a fall harvest celebration with safety restrictions still held in place to maintain a pleasant and secure environment. The experience includes a corn maze, farm visit, cafe, and more.
