Do you prefer to compete against your friends or embark on an individual quest?

On April 1st, Netflix launched its first interactive game show called Trivia Quest.

The inspiration for Trivia Quest came from the 2013 smartphone application, Trivia Crack. However, the show has its own individual features.

When I clicked on the colorful icon to watch the show, an enthusiastic talking wheel named Willy invited me to play. The show follows a simple plot: Rocky, the villain, captured Willy’s friends. Willy has to free them and needs your help.

The narration script uses very simple language and seems geared towards a children’s audience. However, the two different modes for the trivia questions appeal to different participating age groups. You can choose between standard mode, hard mode, or both! If you choose both, you can answer differing levels of questions.

Players also have the ability to replay the episode which leads them to answer the same questions.

This provides a second chance for the player, who will get coins for whatever questions they previously answered wrong but got right the second time around.

Players must free Willy’s friends by earning knowledge keys. To do this, you need to get coins. When you answer a question correctly, you are rewarded with these coins.

Every day, you can continue the journey with new timed questions. The questions follow a daily theme.

As I answered questions, an exercising football, a test tube filled with bubbly liquid in outer space, and a paintbrush in a photography studio appeared on my screen.

So, what do I think of the interactive game show? In my opinion, I prefer experiencing a competition. When I think of a game show, I think of competing against other individuals to win a grand prize. On the Trivia Crack application, you take turns answering questions with other players. You can play against a stranger or a friend. At the end of a Trivia Crack game, one person wins. Trivia Quest has a different organization.

For the Trivia Quest game show, I believe players should have an optional leaderboard feature to see how they are playing compared to others. This would provide a feature for those who crave competition. It would also allow people to continue to play individually if they prefer.

If you’re searching for an activity to do by yourself such as fun trivia, I recommend playing Trivia Quest! If you’re searching for competition, I would suggest downloading the Trivia Crack application.
